Grande Ronde Hospital to Host Free Cardiology Doc Talk During Heart Month

La Grande, OR – Grande Ronde Hospital & Clinics (GRH) will host a free “Cardiology Doc Talk” on Thursday, February 26, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. At the Presbyterian Friendship Center, located at 1204 Spring Ave., La Grande. The event, held in recognition of American Heart Month, will feature cardiologist Dr. Gerrie Gardner and members of GRH’s cardiology team. Dr. Gardner has a special interest in women and heart disease.

Understanding Heart Health

The “Cardiology Doc Talk” aims to educate the community about common heart-related conditions, available treatment options and guidance on recognizing when to seek medical attention. Attendees will also learn from GRH’s Rehabilitation Therapy and Nutrition teams about how they support heart health through recovery, movement, and lifestyle changes.
