Mirco Dinamo Rufilli Presents ‘La tempesta imperfetta’ at Villa Vittoria Cultura

Mirco Dinamo Rufilli, president of Florence’s Quartiere 1, will present his autobiographical book, La tempesta imperfetta, on July 15 at 6:30 p.m. as part of the Villa Vittoria Cultura series. The event, held at Viale Filippo Strozzi 2, features a discussion with the author, series creator Giovanni Fittante, and actor-director Andrea Bruno Savelli. Admission is free to the public.

Inside ‘La tempesta imperfetta’

Published by Mauro Pagliai Editore, Rufilli’s book chronicles his personal encounter with a serious illness, which he describes as an “unexpected and totalizing challenge.” According to the book’s synopsis, the narrative begins with a doctor’s blunt diagnosis, serving as the catalyst for a life review. Rufilli uses the text to reflect on his upbringing in the Santo Spirito neighborhood, the death of his father, his experiences as a rebellious youth, and his struggles with drug addiction. The work also highlights his personal passions, including music and the Fiorentina, alongside his commitment to local politics and his stated dedication to the city of Florence.

About the Villa Vittoria Cultura Series

Villa Vittoria Cultura is a cultural project that operates under the patronage of the Municipality of Florence, the Metropolitan City of Florence, and the Tuscany Region. The series hosts various public events aimed at fostering local discourse and cultural engagement.

Organizational Transparency and Governance

Giovanni Fittante, the founder of Villa Vittoria Cultura, has clarified the organizational structure of the project to ensure transparency. Fittante serves as the president of the cultural association, which acts as an entity distinct and autonomous from Vivi Srl, the company responsible for managing the Villa Vittoria facility.

Fittante formally exited his role at Vivi Srl in early 2024, selling his entire stake in the company. He noted that the divestment was made in preparation for his candidacy as Mayor of Florence during the June 2024 administrative elections. This decision, according to Fittante, was executed for reasons of institutional opportunity and transparency.
