Grinnell and Lake Forest College Swimmers Compete at NCAA Division III Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana – The NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships concluded on March 21, 2026, at the IU Natatorium, with Isabella Rozenbergas of Lake Forest College and Alex Kruse of Grinnell College representing the Midwest Conference. Both athletes made their debut appearances at the national meet.

First-Time National Qualifiers

Rozenbergas, a sophomore, competed in three events: the 200-yard Individual Medley (IM), the 400-yard IM, and the 200-yard butterfly. Kruse, a freshman, participated in the 1-meter and 3-meter diving competitions.

Individual Performances

Rozenbergas achieved a 23rd-place finish in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:30.31. She also placed 42nd in the 200-yard butterfly (2:09.34) and 49th in the 200-yard IM (2:08.60).

Kruse secured 23rd place on the 3-meter board with a score of 402.35 and finished 29th in the 1-meter diving event, scoring 352.95.

Midwest Conference Representation

The participation of Rozenbergas and Kruse marks a significant achievement for the Midwest Conference, as highlighted by Assistant Executive Director Brock Reisler in a recent announcement. Reisler also noted that Evan Ingraham of Grinnell College recently completed his first trip to the NCAA Men’s Swim and Dive Championships.
