Lakmē Fashion Week, in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India, has announced its upcoming Delhi edition will take place from October 13 to October 18, 2026.
Pero opens and AM.IT closes the event
The event opens with a presentation by label pero, featured in an opening show presented by Lakmē and Tira. The six-day schedule culminates on October 18 with the House of Lakmē Grand Finale, which will feature designer Amit Aggarwal’s label AM.IT.
Runway shows and showcases will occupy the Taj Palace starting October 14. Prior to the main venue events, the ‘R|Elan™ Circular Design Challenge in Partnership with the UN in India’ will hold its finale on October 13 at the Embassy of France in New Delhi, highlighting circular innovation from a pool of over 220 global applicants.

FDCI Chairman Sunil Sethi noted in a press release that Delhi remains central to India’s fashion sector. “As we return to the capital, we look forward to presenting a season that celebrates established design talent, nurtures emerging voices, and creates opportunities for meaningful cultural exchange,” Sethi said.

The 2026 schedule features several international and regional collaborations coordinated by the FDCI:
- FDCI X Moscow Fashion Week: Features Russian designer Sergey Sysoev, highlighting creative dialogue.
- The Fifth Season: A Himalayan craftsmanship showcase presented with the Department of Industries & Commerce, Union Territory of Ladakh.
- Eccellenza: An Italian Style showcase presented by the Italian Trade Agency in collaboration with Confartigianato and the FDCI.
- FDCI X Pearl Academy First Cut: Spotlights emerging design talent and educational innovation.
Maruti Suzuki NEXA supports emerging designers
Maruti Suzuki NEXA is also presenting the 12th edition of ‘The Spotlight’ for emerging designers, alongside NIF Global Presents GenNext. The roster features collections from Ashish N Soni, Namrata Joshipura, Suneet Verma, Tarun Tahiliani, and Samant Chauhan.

Beyond the main runways, the FDCI Showroom provides buyers and attendees direct access to participating designers, while the FDCI Stockroom will retail select designer creations at exclusive prices during the event week.
