Rothko Museum to Showcase Contemporary Graphics at 14th International Latgale Symposium Exhibition
Daugavpils, Latvia – The Rothko Museum will host an exhibition on March 7, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., featuring graphic works created during the 14th International Latgale Graphic Art Symposium. The symposium, which ran from February 23 to March 8, 2026, brought together nine artists from seven countries for a two-week intensive residency.
A Celebration of International Artistic Collaboration
The 14th International Latgale Graphic Art Symposium provided a platform for artists from Italy, Canada, Poland, India, Ukraine, Lithuania and Latvia to collaborate and create new works for the Rothko Museum’s collection. The exhibition will showcase the diversity of contemporary graphic art and highlight the symposium’s focus on knowledge sharing, fellowship, and creative exchange. Daugavpils.lv reports that since its inception in 2013, the symposium has involved over a hundred artists from nearly forty countries.

Symposium Details
The symposium, produced by SIVIA Association within the Rothko Museum’s residency framework, offers artists studio space and accommodation in Daugavpils for the duration of the event. Artwork Archive notes that the submission deadline for the symposium was January 2, 2026.
