Latvian Rapper Gacho Celebrates 43rd Birthday Following Landmark Mežaparka Concert
Latvian rapper Gacho marked his 43rd birthday by sharing a message of gratitude with his followers, stating, “It might not look like it, but internally I am smiling! 43! The milestone follows a busy professional year for the artist, highlighted by a major collaborative concert at Mežaparks Grand Stage in Riga.”
Birthday Wishes From Industry Peers and Collaborators
As Gacho celebrated his birthday, figures from the Latvian entertainment industry shared public messages of support. Singer Jānis Stībelis and Latvian model Ieva Lagūna offered public congratulations, with Lagūna writing, “Lots of happiness and energy to continue creating!”
Raimonds Elbakjans, leader of Ghetto Games who marked his own 40th birthday earlier this year, also extended birthday greetings to Gatis. In response to the outreach, the musician posted comments thanking his well-wishers for their support.
Mežaparks Grand Stage Concert Highlights
The birthday follows a major performance milestone for Gacho earlier this summer at the Mežaparka Lielā estrāde in Riga. Gacho and his musical project Mesa co-headlined what organizers billed as their most visually impressive joint concert to date.
The event featured a guest appearance by a young rapper named Kārlis. Billed as a fan of Gacho, the newcomer joined his idol on stage during the performance.
The second half of the concert focused on music from the Mesa project. Gacho was joined on stage by prominent Latvian artists including Ieva Akuratere, Igo, and the bands Laika suns and Prāta vētra (Brainstorm). The performers delivered a mix of their classic catalog alongside tracks recorded in collaboration with Mesa.
