Russia Awaits Revised US Peace Plan, Cites Trump’s Previous proposal

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that Russia is currently awaiting a revised peace plan from the United States following discussions between US officials, Ukraine, and european representatives. Lavrov indicated that russia had previously welcomed the peace proposal put forth by Donald Trump during his presidency.

However, Lavrov cautioned that the situation would fundamentally change if the updated, interim plan deviates from the understandings reached during talks between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.He emphasized the importance of consistency with prior agreements in fostering a viable path toward peace.
