Actor Lee Jung-ok, who played the role of licorice in the dramas ‘The Judge from Hell’ and ‘Thank You‘, the Netflix series ‘Murderer’ and the movie ‘Martial Arts Practitioner’, has started a new home with Moving Pictures Company, which includes actors Oh Dae-hwan, Lee Ho-cheol and Jeon Chae-eun.
According to Moving Pictures Company on the 10th, Lee Jung-ok recently signed an exclusive contract with Moving Pictures Company and decided to begin her acting career.
An official from Moving Pictures Company said, “Actress Lee Jung-ok is an actress who has been active in a variety of fields, including dramas, movies, and plays, with her excellent acting skills. We will fully support her so that she can be active in various fields.”
Lee Jung-ok began her career focusing on the Daegu theater stage in 2000, and later built her acting career as a member of the theater company Chaimu.
After appearing in a small role in the 2007 movie ‘Secret Sunshine’, she has acted in a variety of dramas and movies.
In the 2019 hit movie ‘Extreme Job’, he made his name known to the public by playing the role of ‘Hwan Dong’, a drug dealer in the beginning.
He played his first leading role in the feature-length independent film ‘Paroho’, which appeared in 2020, and won the Best Actor Award at the 10th Wildflower Film Awards in 2023 for his performance as Haeda.
He also received the Best Challenge Award at the 27th KBS Entertainment Awards that year for SBS’s ‘Zombie Detective’.
He is currently filming a horror genre film and is also considering appearing in a drama.
