Toulouse FC forward Leo Frechingues has earned his first call-up to the French U18 national team, scheduled for a training camp from February 16 to 18. This selection recognizes Frechingues’ notable form as joining Toulouse this season.

The young player, previously with AC Ajaccio, has excelled with Toulouse’s U19 squad, registering 13 goals across all competitions. He has also made appearances with the club’s reserve team in National 3, demonstrating his ability to compete at a higher level.

Frechingues is no stranger to national team duty, having previously trained with the France U17 team at Clairefontaine. This U18 camp presents a significant opportunity for him to impress coach Jean-Luc Vannuchi and possibly earn a place in the squad for the upcoming UEFA Under-19 Championship in Wales, taking place from June 28 to July 11.

The training camp will allow Frechingues to showcase his skills and compete with other top young talents in France, as he aims to solidify his position as a key player for both Toulouse and the national team.
