Link-Belt Excavators, a leading manufacturer of earthmoving and material handling equipment, recently concluded its fifth annual “Pink-Belt” auction at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026 construction fair in Las Vegas, Nevada. The event successfully raised $220,000 for breast cancer prevention and treatment initiatives.

Diggin’ for a Cure: A Unique Fundraising Initiative

The auction featured a specially customized Link-Belt 145X4 hydraulic excavator, part of the “Diggin’ for a Cure” tour. This initiative has become a highly anticipated event within the construction industry, uniting visitors, clients, and partners in support of a vital cause.

Supporting Breast Cancer Research and Treatment

The funds generated from the auction will be donated to prominent organizations dedicated to breast cancer research and patient care, including the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) and the Saint Joseph Hospital Foundation through the Yes, Mamm! program. Rasmussen Equipment Company Wins the Bid

Randy Gallegos, representing Rasmussen Equipment Company, a Utah-based construction equipment and parts supplier with 29 years of experience, was the winning bidder for the Pink-Belt excavator. Rasmussen Equipment Company

Pink-Belt Tour and Industry Collaboration

Prior to the CONEXPO auction, the Pink-Belt excavator embarked on a tour across the United States, making 13 stops at charity events to raise awareness and visibility for the campaign. LBX Company CEO Eric Sauvage emphasized the collaborative effort behind the auction’s success, highlighting the contributions of distributors, customers, and partners.

“Cancer affects us all. And early diagnosis is the key to success in the fight against breast cancer,” Sauvage stated.
