‘Little House on the Prairie’ Returns to Netflix with July Premiere and Early Season 2 Renewal
Netflix is set to revisit the beloved frontier saga with a new adaptation of Laura Ingalls Wilder’s Little House on the Prairie. The series, which was first picked up in January 2025, will premiere on July 9, 2026, and has already been renewed for a second season [Gold Derby].
A Fresh Take on a Classic
The upcoming series is described as “part hopeful family drama, part epic survival tale, and part origin story of the American West,” offering a “kaleidoscopic view of the struggles and triumphs of those who shaped the frontier.” [Netflix Tudum].
