Jules Buckley to Conduct ‘Live with Orchestra’ Tour, Including San Diego Debut
English conductor, composer, and arranger Jules Buckley will lead the ‘Live with Orchestra’ tour, bringing orchestral arrangements to venues across North America, and Europe. A new addition to the tour is a performance in San Diego, California, on August 1st at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park with the San Diego Symphony Orchestra.

About Jules Buckley
Born January 8, 1980, in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, England, Jules Buckley is known for his eclectic approach to classical music, incorporating elements of folk, jazz, and film scores. According to his Wikipedia page, Buckley co-founded the Heritage Orchestra in 2004, aiming to present orchestral music in a club setting.
Buckley has held several prominent conducting positions, including principal guest conductor of the Metropole Orkest (2008) and chief conductor from 2013. He is currently the Creative Artist-in-Residence with the BBC Symphony Orchestra, and previously filled in as presenter of BBC Radio 3’s ‘Classical Fix’ in 2020.
