Lorna Luxe Mourns Husband John Andrews Following Cancer Battle

Influencer Lorna Luxe has publicly grieved the loss of her husband, John Andrews, who died on February 12th after a three-year battle with adrenal cancer. Luxe shared an update with her followers on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, following his funeral on Tuesday.

A Long and Courageous Fight

Andrews was initially diagnosed with stage three cancer in April 2023. Despite a period of remission in November 2023, the cancer tragically returned in May 2024, spreading to his brain. Before Christmas, Andrews was hospitalized with organ failure and sepsis following complications from chemotherapy, leading to a period where Luxe was told to “prepare for the worst.” He briefly recovered and was able to spend Christmas at home with his wife.

A Beautiful Farewell

Luxe described the funeral as “beautiful,” noting the strong turnout of people who loved her husband. “People I’d not seen in a long time turned up. I knew we’d have a solid turn out because people loved John,” she shared on Instagram Story. The celebration of life included a humanist ceremony and a buffet featuring Andrews’ favorite foods and wines, a “proper send off for a brilliant man.”

Focusing on Legacy and Charity

Luxe announced her intention to refocus on a charity sale for Maggie’s cancer charity and The Meath Epilepsy Charity, which had been postponed due to Andrews’ declining health. “For the next week I am going to focus on getting this charity sale happening… It will be a lovely way to remember him,” she said. She also expressed a need to stay busy and reconnect with friends.

A Heartfelt Tribute

In a previous, heartbreaking tribute announcing his death, Luxe described Andrews as “My beautiful, brave John.” She shared that they were together until the exceptionally complete, at home in their bed, holding hands, as he wished. She also acknowledged the care they received from district nurses, particularly praising one nurse, Anna, for her exceptional kindness.

A Marriage of Sixteen Years

Lorna Luxe and John Andrews were married for 16 years. Andrews was 21 years Luxe’s senior. Throughout his treatment, the couple openly shared their journey with their followers.
