Louder Than Life 2026: Iron Maiden, Tool, and Nearly 200 Bands to Rock Louisville

Louder Than Life, America’s largest rock and metal festival, is set to return to the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky, from September 17-20, 2026. The festival will feature a massive lineup of nearly 200 bands across seven stages, headlined by Iron Maiden, Tool, My Chemical Romance, and Limp Bizkit. The event is produced by Danny Wimmer Presents.

Saturday’s lineup will be particularly notable, featuring one of the most prominent all-female-fronted stage lineups assembled at a major U.S. Rock festival. Confirmed performers include Halestorm, In This Moment, Lindsey Stirling, Orianthi, Icon For Hire, Kami Kehoe, and Diamante.

Pantera’s Exclusive U.S. Show and Reunion Sets

Louder Than Life 2026 will mark Pantera’s only U.S. Performance of the year. The festival will as well host reunion sets from Circa Survive, Secure Scared, Blood for Blood, Metal Church, Primer 55, Sent By Ravens, and 40 Below Summer.

Battle for the Massive Stage Competition

Danny Wimmer Presents is offering bands the opportunity to join the Louder Than Life lineup through the “Battle for the Big Stage” competition. Bands can submit entries from March 1 through March 31, 2026, for a chance to perform at the festival. Learn more about the competition here.

The 11th edition of Louder Than Life in 2025 drew over 240,000 fans. The festival, along with the separately-held Bourbon & Beyond festival, generated more than $43 million for the local economy in 2025, demonstrating a strong and ongoing partnership between the city of Louisville and Danny Wimmer Presents.
