Brittany Lumley Named Executive Director of Iowa Insurance Institute, Joins LS2group as Partner

Des Moines, Iowa – Brittany Lumley has been appointed Executive Director of the Iowa Insurance Institute (III), succeeding Brenna Bird, who was recently elected as Iowa’s Attorney General. Simultaneously, LS2group, a Des Moines-based public relations and public affairs firm, has announced Lumley as a new partner, alongside Demaree Donaghu, Michael Brown, and Corey Day.

Background and Education

Brittany Lumley holds a law degree from Drake University Law School and remains an attorney in solid standing in both Missouri and Iowa [LS2group]. She also earned an undergraduate degree in business management from the University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business, with minors in Spanish and French [LS2group]. Prior to joining LS2group, she worked as a research attorney for the Iowa House of Representatives Majority Caucus Staff, focusing on tax credit legislation, economic development, and infrastructure budgets [LS2group].
