Lucky TV Axed from Vandaag Inside Following Derksen’s Criticism

The collaboration between Vandaag Inside and Lucky TV, the satirical segment previously featured on De Wereld Draait Door, has reportedly ended after consistent criticism from the talk demonstrate’s panelists, particularly Johan Derksen.

Wilfred Genee initially introduced Lucky TV clips into the daily program, but Derksen voiced strong disapproval, stating the content often lacked humor. According to Mediacourant.nl, Derksen argued that any clips aired should be genuinely funny and questioned the necessitate for daily installments.

Derksen’s Concerns

Derksen specifically criticized a recurring joke targeting a politician from the BBB party, deeming it repetitive and unfunny after its initial appearance. He stated, “That joke was funny once, but she won’t have diarrhea, so that won’t happen again.” He similarly expressed a preference for Lucky TV segments to appear only twice a week, contingent on the quality of the humor.

Quiet Removal and Confirmation

Bart Ettekoven of Shownieuws noted that Lucky TV hadn’t been featured on Vandaag Inside since March 5th. Evert Santegoeds, during a discussion on the show, concluded, “We won’t see it anymore, I think.”

Genee’s experiment to integrate Sander van de Pavert’s Lucky TV into Vandaag Inside ultimately failed to gain sufficient support from the show’s editorial team and regular panelists, leading to its removal from the program, as reported by Headliner.nl.
