Honda launched the latest Honda 500 Series E-Clutch in Thailand. The two newest Series E-Clutch models introduced in the White Elephant country are the Honda CBR500R E-Clutch and Honda NX500 E-Clutch. With this technology, the driver’s left hand and foot are guaranteed not to get sore quickly.

The key technology presented is the Honda E-Clutch. This system allows the driver to accelerate and shift gears without needing to pull the clutch lever. That way, fatigue in the left hand and leg can be reduced significantly, especially when facing heavy traffic or taking long touring trips.

The driving character becomes smoother and more natural, while increasing the confidence of riders of all levels of experience. The presence of this technology makes the rear brake pedal and transmission lever disappear. In addition, the lever on the left handlebar changes its function from clutch to rear brake.

Quoting Greatbikerthe latest Honda 500 Series E-Clutch comes in two models, namely the Honda CBR500R E-Clutch and Honda NX500 E-Clutch. The CBR500R E-Clutch targets sports motorbike fans with the ‘Ignite the Race’ concept. This motorbike combines racing DNA with ease of daily use.

Adjustments were made to the lower body design to align with the E-Clutch system, while providing a more aggressive appearance. In terms of color, CBR’s signature Grand Prix Red is available as well as the new Mat Gunpowder Black color with red logo accents. This model is priced at 235,800 baht (Rp. 121.7 million).

Meanwhile, the Honda NX500 E-Clutch carries the concept of ‘The New Xventure Begins’. This adventure-style motorbike is designed to remain comfortable for use in urban areas and on long distance trips. E-Clutch integration makes motorbike control feel lighter and less fatigued. The NX500 E-Clutch is available in three color choices, namely Graphite Black, Mat Gunpowder Black, and Pearl Horizontal White. The price offered is 240,900 baht (Rp. 129.8 million).

The presence of the Honda 500 Series E-Clutch is an important step for Honda in making sport fairing and touring motorbikes more accessible and comfortable, both for beginners and experienced riders. This model is now available at the Honda BigWing dealer network in Thailand.
