A Weekend in the Heart of the Magic of Christmas in Châteaubriant

The City of Châteaubriant hosted a large weekend of Christmas activities on Saturday, December 20 and Sunday, December 21, 2025, to celebrate the end-of-year holidays.

People of all ages gathered to enjoy the many events offered by the Municipality. Creative workshops, a lantern parade, Christmas shows, mascots, Santa Claus, stilt walkers, makeup artists, a brass band, and a magician brought vibrancy to the three days of party.

Residents and tourists explored the city center, admiring the christmas lights, while the LEGO®-Playmobil® exhibition at the Covered Market drew many visitors.

As the holidays approach, this weekend of activities delighted a large and enthusiastic audience.

A Look Back at This Great Christmas Weekend

la Micro-Folie hosted several holiday-themed workshops, preceding the Lantern Parade organized by the Municipal Youth Council. Shows took place at the Théâtre de verre and the Médiathèque, and a new ice show captivated audiences with two performances on the ice rink. Saturday,December 20 offered something for everyone,and the public responded with strong attendance in Châteaubriant!

Sunday afternoon featured numerous highlights. Mascots, a marching band, makeup artists, stilt walkers, a magician, musical street performances, and a flashmob by the Municipal Youth Council enlivened the city center. Santa Claus and his elves strolled through the streets.
