Kuala Lumpur – Passenger movements across Malaysia Airports Group’s global network reached 153.3 million in 2025, demonstrating a significant upswing in travel as the nation prepares to host Visit malaysia 2026. The figures indicate a robust recovery and growing confidence in air travel within the region.

Malaysia Airports Group is actively working to establish Malaysia as the premier connected country in Southeast Asia, backed by ongoing investment in infrastructure and collaborative relationships with airline partners.

KL International Airport (KLIA), Malaysia’s primary aviation hub, accounted for 6.1 million passengers in December, contributing to a total of 63.3 million passengers for the entire year – a 10.8 percent increase.

Looking ahead, Malaysia Airports Group remains focused on bolstering service reliability, increasing airport capacity, and fostering growth through strategic partnerships to support the anticipated influx of tourists during Visit Malaysia 2026 and beyond.
