The victims have been identified as a 32-year-aged man, his 28-year-old wife, their daughters aged three and four, and the man’s 55-year-old mother . According to Pahang Police Chief Datuk Seri Yahaya Othman, the bodies of the husband, wife, and children were discovered in a bedroom, while the grandmother’s body was found in the kitchen of the single-story terraced house .
Initial investigations suggest the 32-year-old man attacked his wife, mother, and two daughters with a sharp weapon, believed to be a knife, before taking his own life . Victims displayed visible injuries .

The incident was discovered by the suspect’s 15-year-old brother, who was present in the house at the time and immediately alerted authorities . Police were alerted around 7:00 am local time .
Yahaya Othman stated that the man had recently returned to his family home approximately one month ago after resigning from a job in Selangor. He had only begun employment in Kuantan a week prior to the incident .
