Law enforcement authorities are investigating the shooting death of a man found next to a vehicle in Industry, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Deputies responding to an assault with a deadly weapon call discovered the victim on the ground suffering from gunshot wounds near the Pomona Freeway.
Shooting Investigation on Crossroads Parkway North
The fatal shooting occurred shortly after 7 a.m. on Saturday in the 13000 block of Crossroads Parkway North, just north of the Pomona (60) Freeway, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Responding deputies found the unidentified male victim lying on the ground next to a vehicle with gunshot wounds, the Sheriff’s Information Bureau reported.
Deputies immediately initiated life-saving measures at the scene. Paramedics and medical personnel ultimately pronounced the victim dead at the location. Investigators have not yet released a suspect description or a potential motive for the violence.
