Provincial Governor Fredenil H. Castro and DepEd-Capiz Schools Division Superintendent Roel F. Bermejo coordinated preparations for the event. The oath-taking was rescheduled from its original date of April 19, 2026, to accommodate the Capiztahan 2026 celebration and the National Festival of Talents (NFOT), which debuted in Roxas City earlier that week.
