Maria Sole Agnelli, Philanthropist and Former mayor, Dies at 100
Maria Sole Agnelli, a prominent figure in Italian society known for her philanthropic work and political service, died on December 26, 2025, at her home in Torrimpietra, near Rome. She was 100 years old. Agnelli dedicated much of her life to supporting education, culture, and research thru the Agnelli Foundation, and previously served as mayor of Campello sul Clitunno. She was the sister of the late industrialist Gianni agnelli and Susanna Agnelli.
