Marshall has expanded its Jimi Hendrix 60th anniversary collection with three limited-edition products, including the JMH Studio amplifier, the Emberton III portable speaker, and the Major V headphones, according to technology media outlet NotebookCheck in an August 25 report.

The Hendrix-edition JMH Studio amplifier features a psychedelic purple colorway and is rebuilt based on the Marshall 1959 Studio Vintage amp head and cabinet, according to NotebookCheck. The unit uses a tube amp head and houses two 12-inch Celestion V-Type speakers inside the cabinet. The amplifier supports 5W or 20W operation, while the complete cabinet configuration carries a rated power of 140W.
Emberton III Portable Speaker and Major V Headphones Updates
The Hendrix version of the Emberton III portable speaker features internal configurations largely identical to the standard model, according to NotebookCheck. It is equipped with two 10W driver units and passive radiators, offering a 30-hour battery life and an IP67 protection rating at a maintained price of $180 (approximately 1,213 yuan). The primary changes for this limited edition include a purple swirl texture and a matching indicator light. Similarly, the Major V headphones focus on exterior updates, incorporating a purple oil-water texture across the inner headband and earcups. NotebookCheck reports that internal hardware remains unchanged, featuring 40-millimeter drivers, Bluetooth 5.3, wireless charging, and an official battery life exceeding 100 hours. The headphones are priced at $159.99 (approximately 1,078 yuan), matching the standard Major V model.
