Music legend Mary Black and TV personality Coleen Rooney are set to be guests on this week’s The Late Late Show, hosted by Patrick Kielty, airing Friday on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.

This week’s episode will honor folk music icon Mary Black with a special segment celebrating her remarkable career. Black will perform two of her hit songs, “Katie” and “Carolina Rua.” She will be joined in studio by her son, Danny O’Reilly, frontman of The Coronas, and her daughter, singer Róisín O, who will perform a track she wrote for her mother. A montage of tributes from those closest to Black will also be shown, along with a surprise appearance from a well-known face. Black will also reflect on the recent passing of her friend and fellow music legend, Dolores Keane.
