María Escoté Wins Immunity in Wolf-Themed Roleplay

The episode began with a role-playing game of “wolves and villagers” designed to test the contestants’ ability to identify hidden roles. According to RTVE, the rules dictated that if a villager successfully identified a wolf, that wolf had to stop cooking and leave the kitchen. Both Santiago Segura and Edu Soto were identified as wolves and removed from the challenge.

The remaining contestants prepared polenta, an Italian staple, in either sweet or savory variations. While Anabel, David, Bibiana, Mala, Paz, and María Escoté produced the best dishes, the judges awarded the “infidelity immunity pin” to designer María Escoté. This reward allows Escoté to avoid elimination at a time of her choosing, though other contestants can attempt to steal the pin during the first challenge of future episodes.

Strip Poker Stakes and Ruth Lorenzo’s Exit

In the final elimination round, contestants faced a pastry challenge involving the reproduction of edible art created by pastry chef Edwin Garpa of Maison Brûlée, with actress Victoria Abril also present. To obtain specific ingredients and professional utensils, the contestants—Paz, Ruth, Marina, Mala, Santiago, and Bustamante—were asked to play strip poker.

While most participants complied—resulting in the filmmaker Santiago and singer Bustamante ending up in only their aprons—Ruth Lorenzo refused to participate. RTVE reports that Lorenzo expressed discomfort and declined the game, which left her without the rewards and advantages available to her competitors.

During the tasting, the judges praised Marina and Paz for their technical execution. However, the jury found faults in the other dishes: Bustamante’s base was too thick, Santiago’s aesthetics were lacking, and Mala’s dish lacked flavor. Ruth Lorenzo’s dessert was criticized for its floury texture. Judges Pepe, Jordi, and Marta ultimately eliminated Lorenzo, noting that her refusal to participate in the game deprived her of the advantages necessary to save her dish.
