Fitzpatrick entered Sunday’s final round with a five-stroke lead after carding rounds of 65, 64, and 65 earlier in the week. That final-hole mistake marked only the second blemish on his scorecard across the entire week, leaving him as the only player in the field to reach the 20-under threshold.
Spain’s Angel Hidalgo finished alone in second place three strokes behind Fitzpatrick after shooting a final-round 67. Local favorite Tom Vaillant began the final day in second place alongside other contenders but shot a 70 to drop back into a tie for third position.
Defending champion Michael Kim finished the tournament tied for seventh at 14 under par. For Fitzpatrick, the victory marks his 15th worldwide professional win and adds to a 2026 campaign that already includes PGA Tour victories at the Valspar Championship and the RBC Heritage, alongside a team win with his younger brother Alex at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
