Mayweather and Pacquiao to Clash Again in Las Vegas Sphere Showdown

Boxing legends Floyd Mayweather Jr. And Manny Pacquiao have agreed to a highly anticipated rematch, scheduled for September 19 at the state-of-the-art Las Vegas Sphere. The bout will be streamed globally on Netflix, marking the first professional boxing match to be held at the immersive venue ESPN and Los Angeles Times.

A Decade Removed from the “Fight of the Century”

The rematch comes eleven years after their first encounter on May 2, 2015, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Mayweather won that fight by unanimous decision, a result that generated 4.6 million pay-per-view buys and a live gate of $72 million – both records at the time Los Angeles Times.

Both Fighters Have Remained Active
