Meghan Markle Reportedly Returning to Acting Amid Move Back to UK

Meghan Markle has been offered an acting role in an upcoming United Kingdom-based project, according to a report published on Friday by Australian outlet news.com.au. The development coincides with reports that the Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry, and their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are moving back to the United Kingdom for an extended period, as confirmed by Variety.

Meghan Markle Acting Offer and Career History

A source close to the couple indicated to ABC News that the reports regarding the move and the acting offer are accurate. Neither Meghan nor Prince Harry has commented publicly on the potential return to acting or their reported relocation.

Before marrying Prince Harry in 2018, Meghan worked as a full-time actress in the United States and Canada. She is best known for portraying paralegal Rachel Zane for seven seasons on the USA Network legal drama “Suits,” which experienced a streaming resurgence on Netflix in 2023. In a 2022 interview with Variety, Meghan stated that she believed she was finished with acting, noting at the time that her intention was not to return to the profession.
