Melilla Ciudad del Deporte lost in the round of 16 tie of the Spanish Cup against CB Starlabs Morón.

This led the Melilla bench to request a timeout with the score at 34-29 and four and a half minutes until halftime. Morón was playing well and found the basket with ease, closing the first half with a 46-37 lead after a 25-15 run.

The passage through the locker room seemed to benefit Melilla Ciudad del Deporte, who turned the game around (48-49) in just three minutes of play thanks to a 2-12 partial start.The match remained tied until two consecutive three-pointers by Morón made it 59-53, forcing Garita to call a timeout with four minutes left in the third quarter.
