RIT Men’s Swimming & Diving Dominates at Home Meet,Sets Program Records

The RIT men’s swimming and diving team delivered a strong performance at a recent home meet,highlighted by multiple program records and several top finishes. The Tigers showcased their depth and talent across a variety of events.

Key Performances:

* 200 IM: Griffin Tomsheck secured 3rd place with a time of 1:56.87. Stephen Graver finished 4th (1:57.03) and Jackson Frazier 5th (1:58.47).
* 200 Freestyle Relay: The team of Messenlehner,Keyes,Hilliard,and Noga took 2nd place with a time of 1:25.13.
* 3-Meter Diving: Luke Albanese achieved a remarkable victory, setting a new Program Record with a score of 601.50. Sam Martin placed 6th (389.50).
* 200 Medley Relay: Messenlehner, Tomsheck, Keyes, and Hilliard finished 2nd in 1:32.62.
* 500 Freestyle: Josh Berty swam to a 1st place finish, breaking the Pool Record with a time of 4:39.22. Thomas Eppich followed in 2nd (4:43.97) and Lucas Peterson in 3rd (4:44.64).
* 200 Breaststroke: Griffin Tomsheck earned 2nd place (2:03.11), with Jackson Frazier taking 3rd (2:06.52) and Aiden agostini 4th (2:07.84).
* 50 Freestyle: Finn Hilliard finished 3rd (21.43) and Griffin Messenlehner 4th (21.46).
* 100 Butterfly: Kamden Keyes placed 4th (51.25) and Jacob Winfield 5th (51.76).
* 100 Backstroke: Griffin Messenlehner dominated, winning 1st place with a time of 51.22. Finn Hilliard finished 4th (53.38).
* 200 freestyle: Miles Lim secured 1st place (1:44.02), closely followed by Josh Berty in 2nd (1:44.29) and Eric Noga in 3rd (1:44.36).
* 400 IM: Jacob Winfield finished 2nd (4:10.95) and Lucas Peterson 3rd (4:13.52). Jackson Frazier placed 5th (4:19.46).
* 400 Freestyle Relay: The team of Hilliard, Keyes, Noga, and Messenlehner took 2nd place with a time of 3:07.26.
* 1-Meter Diving: Luke Albanese continued his impressive performance, setting another Program Record with a score of 561.65.Sam martin finished 5th (367.05).
