Mercedes Moné Set to Return to AEW Following European Tour

Former TBS Champion Mercedes Moné is expected to return to All Elite Wrestling (AEW) in late March, following the conclusion of her European tour. Moné has been absent from AEW television since a January 10th appearance on Collision, which followed a segment on Dynamite where she was presented with a cake to the face during Willow Nightingale’s TBS Championship celebration.

During an interview on Italian television station IL61’s Wrestling Time, Moné indicated her return was imminent. “I’m returning (to AEW) really, really soon. But right now, I am on my Mone Madness Tour all over Europe. First, it started in Mexico, now here in Italy, next stop is Paris, then London, then Poland, then Winnipeg. After that, Mama is gonna return home,” she stated via X (formerly Twitter).

Moné is scheduled to defend the WPW Women’s title at WPW Fight at the Museum in Winnipeg on Tuesday, March 31st. AEW Dynamite is scheduled to be held in Winnipeg the following night, suggesting a potential return on that show.

Throughout her European tour, Moné has been competing for various independent titles, but has lost her last five championship matches according to Yahoo Sports. As of March 20, 2026, she still holds five indie titles.

Recent Championship History

Willow Nightingale defeated Mercedes Moné for the TBS Championship on January 1, 2026, ending Moné’s reign at 585 days as reported by Yahoo Sports. Moné had previously defeated Nightingale at AEW Double or Nothing 2024 to win the title and successfully defended it 24 times.

Prior to the title change, Moné and Nightingale faced off in a match at Worlds End, where Moné retained the Women’s World Tag Team Championship alongside Harley Cameron.
