MGK Slams Yungblud as “Silver Spooned Preachy Wanker” Over Ticket Pricing Criticism
Machine Gun Kelly (MGK) has publicly criticized Yungblud, calling him a “silver spooned preachy wanker” in a social media post targeting the latter’s stance on live music ticket prices. The exchange comes amid Yungblud’s ongoing advocacy for more affordable concert tickets through initiatives like his BLUDFEST event, which he launched to challenge the industry’s pricing practices.
MGK’s comments followed a video in which Yungblud discussed the “inaccessibility” of live music, arguing that ticket prices have become prohibitively expensive. In a now-deleted post, MGK accused Yungblud of hypocrisy, writing: “You cancelled a tour because you couldn’t sell tickets blamed it on mental health then got parazzi’d at Nobu the next day Pinocchio.” He added: “And your actual tour tickets are still the same price as every other artist. Shut the fuck up you silver spooned preachy wanker.”

Yungblud, known for his outspoken critiques of the music industry, has previously expressed frustration with ticket pricing. In a 2025 interview with the BBC, he stated: “This is just dumb. Just stupid. It does not represent real people. Play a festival where it’s like £800 a ticket. How can you stand on stage and that’s OK?”
