Michigan Gymnastics Hosts Clemson for Kids Night at Crisler Center

Ann Arbor, Mich. – The No. 9-ranked University of Michigan women’s gymnastics team (9-3) will welcome No. 14 Clemson (4-4) to Crisler Center on Friday night, March 6, at 6:45 p.m. For Kids Night. The meet will be streamed on B1G+.

• Kids Take Over Crisler: A Kids Day celebration with kid-friendly promotions and activities throughout the meet.
• Wolverine Kids Club Day: All Wolverine Kids Club Members are invited to attend. Members must claim their complimentary tickets in advance using the promo code available in the event section of the Wolverine Kids Club app.
• Giveaway: Kids Day 10.0 Card & Poster will be given away.

Wolverine Performance and Rankings

Michigan enters Week 10 of the season ranked No. 9 nationally. The Wolverines are particularly strong on balance beam, currently ranked No. 4 in the country. They also hold top-15 rankings on floor (No. 10), vault (No. 13), and uneven bars (No. 15).

Individual Standouts

Kayli Boozer is currently ranked sixth nationally on balance beam. Carly Bauman is ranked in the top 25 on both beam (No. 21) and floor (No. 23).

Recent Successes

The Wolverines achieved a season-high score of 197.475 at the Big Ten Quad Meet, winning the session. Jahzara Ranger earned Big Ten Specialist of the Week honors after achieving career-high scores of 9.925 on vault and 9.950 on floor exercise at the meet. She also contributed a 9.850 on balance beam. Peyton Davis also had a career day, scoring a 9.925 on beam and a 9.900 on vault. Boozer secured her sixth balance beam title of the season with a score of 9.950. Sophia Diaz recorded a career-high 9.925 on floor.

Beam Excellence

In week one of the season, Michigan set a new program record on beam with a score of 49.650 at the Sprouts Farmers Collegiate Quad, surpassing the previous record of 49.625 set in 2023.

Looking Ahead

Michigan will conclude its regular season on Friday, March 13, at 6:45 p.m. By hosting Oklahoma at Crisler Center, where they will also honor their senior class.
