The next test for Dusty May’s squad takes them on the road for a Saturday night Big Ten tip-off when they head to College Park, Maryland, to take on the Maryland Terrapins (6-4).

Michigan vs. Maryland prediction, pick:
The duo of Yaxel Lendeborg and Morez Johnson Jr., who bolster the Michigan Wolverines’ front court, may be the best in college basketball. The two are a handful for anyone they play against, and could make for a long night for Maryland. On top of that, centre Aday Mara is yet another big body Dusty May can rely on down low.
The Terrapins are going to need Pharrel Payne,their leading scorer (18.7 points) and rebounder (7.6 rebounds), to have a massive game to mitigate some of Michigan’s frontcourt action.
Should they do that, Michigan can turn to a collection of guards, featuring Trey McKenney, Roddy Gayle Jr., and Elliot Cadeau, to find ways to score. Michigan should be able to work its frontcourt, outrebound Maryland, and get a handful of clean looks from deep when the Terrapins have to defend the paint.
