“I’ve had it in my head for years. Since the end of my career. Then I couldn’t say goodbye the way I wanted to as of the covid measures. Now I can,” Baroš stated, reflecting on the long-awaited opportunity to bid farewell to his fans. He officially retired in 2020 at the age of 38, concluding his fourth stint with Baník Ostrava due to Achilles tendon issues.

Baroš’s career is decorated with significant achievements, including a UEFA Champions League title with Liverpool in 2005, Ligue 1 with Lyon in 2007, the FA Cup with Portsmouth in 2008, and the Süper Lig with Galatasaray in 2012. He likewise enjoyed spells with Aston Villa, Antalyaspor, Liberec, and Mladá Boleslav.
