“Note Colorate” Youth Choir to Perform Traveling Christmas Concert in Mili S. Pietro

A festive Christmas concert is scheduled for Tuesday,December 23,2025,in the Sicilian village of Mili S. pietro. The “Note Colorate” youth Voices Choir,under the direction of maestro Giovanni Mundo,will present a traveling performance through the streets,accompanied by actors Gabriella Zecchetto and Antonio Previti.
A Christmas Celebration Amidst Nativity Scenes
The concert will be set against the backdrop of the village’s renowned “Miloto nativity scene” exhibition. This year marks the 26th edition of the event, featuring over 50 nativity scenes crafted by local families. The choir will perform a repertoire of Christmas melodies, with a special emphasis on traditional Sicilian songs and lyrics.
Part of a Larger Musical Initiative
this event is part of the “Music at the center in the peripheral areas of the city of Messina” program. The initiative is promoted by the Messina Philharmonic Academy and supported by the Ministry of Culture and the Municipality of Messina. Collaboration also comes from the Youth Tourist Center and the Parish of Mili S. Pietro and tipoldo.
