Adjustments for Endurance Training

Soman temporarily stopped intermittent fasting when preparing for a half-Ironman marathon. He explained that endurance events require consistent eating to fuel performance. He is currently not following the diet as he trains for a full Ironman.

“I only stopped doing it when we went into this half-Ironman marathon as you have to eat whatever you get all the time. It’s an endurance event. I haven’t restarted it. But it was an amazing experience. Right now, I am not on it because we are doing a full Iron Man coming up,” he added, accompanied by his wife, Ankita Konwar.
