Milwaukee’s New 4-Bay Super Charger Promises to Revolutionize Battery Charging
Milwaukee Tool is set to release a new 4-bay simultaneous super charger, designed to dramatically improve charging speed and convenience for its M12, M18, and MX FUEL battery platforms. This charger builds upon Milwaukee’s existing charging technology and addresses a common pain point for professionals and serious DIYers: waiting for batteries to charge.

The new charger offers significant versatility, capable of charging a wide variety of battery packs and sizes, from compact M12 batteries to larger M18 and even the high-capacity M18 FORGE 8-12Ah packs. Users can charge up to four M18 batteries concurrently, or a combination of three M18s and one M12.
A key feature is the inclusion of “Cool-Cycle” technology, previously only available on one othre Milwaukee charger. this rapidly cools down larger M18 FORGE batteries during charging, significantly reducing charge times. Milwaukee claims a full charge for four FORGE 8-12Ah battery packs can be achieved in just 90 minutes.
Beyond speed, the charger incorporates Milwaukee’s latest adaptive charging and distribution technology.This intelligently recognizes each battery connected and allocates power accordingly, optimizing charging speeds and overall productivity.this means batteries will charge as quickly as possible, based on their individual needs.
Milwaukee has also integrated REDLINK intelligence into the charger, ensuring optimal performance and battery health. the charger is designed with portability and storage in mind, featuring a convenient carry handle and compatibility with the PACKOUT modular storage system.
While pricing hasn’t been officially announced, given the current price of the dual-bay charger ($249 at Home Depot as of May 16, 2024), the 4-bay super charger is expected to be a premium investment. It is slated for release at Home Depot and other retailers in June 2024.
