MILWAUKEE, Wis.- A 44-year-old man died Thursday following a stabbing incident near 36th and National Avenue in Milwaukee. Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department (MPD), officers responded to the scene and found the victim had succumbed to his injuries. A 39-year-old man was taken into custody in connection with the stabbing. The time of the incident remains under investigation.
Police have stated that the incident does not currently appear to be related to domestic violence. The case will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office as part of standard procedure.
