Miyu Yamashita successfully defended her EVE International Championship title against Arisu Endo at the "WRESTLE PRINCESS 7" event held at EBARA WAVE Arena Ota in Tokyo on October 3, 2026. Yamashita secured the victory with a Skull Kick at the 10:31 mark, marking her second successful defense of the belt.
Championship Match Outcome at WRESTLE PRINCESS 7
The title match served as a high-stakes rematch for Yamashita, who had previously suffered a defeat against Endo during the Tokyo Princess Cup quarterfinals in August 2025. According to Sponichi, the contest remained competitive throughout, with Endo utilizing offensive maneuvers such as the "Bandaisan" and a camel clutch to pressure the champion.
Despite Endo’s efforts—which included a superkick that resulted in a two-count—Yamashita regained control of the pace. After executing a German suplex hold, Yamashita landed a buzzsaw kick followed by her signature Skull Kick to seal the pinfall victory.
Post-Match Comments and Future Plans
Following the match, the two competitors briefly shook hands before Endo delivered an elbow strike to the champion, signaling her lingering frustration and determination.
In backstage comments, Yamashita acknowledged the difficulty of the bout. "The match was pressured by Arisu throughout, so it came down to pure grit at the end," Yamashita stated. Looking ahead, the champion confirmed her upcoming travel to the United Kingdom in November, where she is scheduled for a singles match against AEW’s Marina Shafir. She challenged Shafir to put the EVE International title on the line during their encounter.
Endo expressed her disappointment but remained focused on her growth within the promotion. "I’m frustrated, but I believe I was able to fight for the belt against Yamashita-san because I have become stronger," Endo said. "I’m not giving up. After fighting her, I realized how much I love this person, but I also know I want to surpass her."
