A Necessary Move: Sarah and Lasse’s Story on ‘Kopen Zonder Kijken’

The Challenges of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy

Lasse’s diagnosis of Duchenne muscular dystrophy, a progressive muscle-weakening disease, necessitated a change in living arrangements. As the disease progresses, everyday activities like climbing stairs become increasingly difficult.
