PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Collin Morikawa claimed victory at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am on Sunday, February 15, 2026, ending a 28-month win drought on the PGA Tour. The win came with a personal announcement, as Morikawa and his wife, Katherine Zhu, revealed they are expecting their first child this spring.

Dramatic Finish at Pebble Beach

Morikawa finished the tournament at 22-under 266, tying the lowest winning total in tournament history, previously set by Brandt Snedeker in 2015. He secured the win with a birdie on the 18th hole, a two-putt from the collar of the green after a challenging wait due to play ahead. The final round was marked by a six-way tie for the lead at various points, with Scottie Scheffler mounting a significant comeback.

Scheffler’s Late Charge Falls Short

Scottie Scheffler delivered a spectacular final-round 63, highlighted by three eagles, including one on the 18th hole. Despite the impressive performance, Scheffler fell two shots short of Morikawa. His strong finish extended his streak to 18 consecutive top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour, a streak that began to look in jeopardy after an opening-round 72.

Morikawa’s Path to Victory

Morikawa entered the final round two shots behind Akshay Bhatia but navigated a windy and rainy day to secure the win. He had a 62 on Saturday to get within two shots of Bhatia. Morikawa’s victory is his seventh on the PGA Tour and his first since winning the Zozo Championship in Japan in October 2023. The win also moves him to No. 5 in the world rankings.

Personal Announcement

During his post-round interview, Morikawa emotionally announced that he and his wife are expecting their first child. “There’s so much to life, there’s so much to enjoy,” Morikawa said, wiping away tears. “We’re actually expecting later this year, in a few months, and we just started telling people this week. What a better way, the best way to announce it to the world if I was able to come out and win?”

Final Leaderboard

The final leaderboard saw Min Woo Lee and Sepp Straka finish tied for second place at 21-under. Scheffler and Tommy Fleetwood tied for fourth at 20-under. Akshay Bhatia, the 54-hole leader, finished three back after a final-round 72.
