Last night I informed you that hot news MSI The GeForce RTX 5090 Lightning, which was presented at this year’s CES, goes on sale for the first time. In Taiwan, the manufacturer has prepared a special lottery in which you can win the opportunity to purchase the card at all for 165,000 Taiwanese dollars, which translates to about 125,000 CZK. This is the very first opportunity to purchase this exclusivity. However, thanks to internal sources, we also know something about its availability in the Czech Republic.
MSI launches limited edition RTX 5090 Lightning graphics card. It costs over 125,000 crowns, offers extreme performance and you have to win the lottery to be able to buy it.
According to information from the manufacturer, the card it will appear in our e-shop this Thursday Alza.cz from 15:00 for the amount of CZK 132,990 incl. VAT. This is a very high price, which even according to the manufacturer may change by Thursday, but for this price you get a truly exclusive piece of hardware, which is exceptional not only for its brutal performance, but also for its limited quantity. Only 1300 pieces of this card will be produced worldwide.
From a design point of view, the MSI GeForce RTX 5090 Lightning is an uncompromising display of raw power. The card is built on a completely unique PCB with an extremely oversized power supply cascade consisting of a pair of 12V-2×6 connectors. This solution requires at least a 1600W power supply. Lightning is primarily designed for extreme overclocking and cooling under liquid nitrogen (LN2), where the limits of common graphics are pushed far beyond the standards. Thanks to this brutal power limit and special construction, the card managed to break several world records even before its launch.
The legendary Lightning series is back after seven years. At CES 2026, MSI revealed the extreme RTX 5090 with water cooling and a unique display, which will be produced in a limited edition of only 1,300 units.
