ORLANDO, FL – February 25, 2026 – Myles Borne has captured the NXT North American Championship, defeating Ethan Page in a hard-fought match that headlined the February 24th episode of NXT on The CW. This victory marks the end of Page’s historic run as champion, which began in May 2025 and saw him set a record for the most North American Title defenses. Watch the full match here.
A Chaotic Championship Clash
The match was filled with intense action and interference from multiple factions. Early in the contest, Borne focused his attack on Page’s ankle, inflicting significant damage. Page attempted to regain control, utilizing moves like a neckbreaker and Ego’s Edge, but Borne consistently fought back.
The bout took a chaotic turn when Vanity Project (Jackson Drake, Brad Baylor & Ricky Smokes) intervened, attempting to assist Page. Drake even struck Borne with his WWE EVOLVE Men’s Title. However, their efforts were thwarted by the arrival of Hank Walker, Tank Ledger, and Shiloh Hill, who are scheduled to face Vanity Project in a six-man tag team match on March 3rd.
Further complicating matters, Ricky Saints attempted to aid Page, only to be stopped by NXT Champion Joe Hendry, who is set to defend his title against Saints at the Vengeance Day PLE on March 7th. An exchange between Saints and Hendry resulted in damage to the top turnbuckle, which Borne later exploited by driving Page into it.
The ‘Borne Again’ Secures the Victory
Borne connected with his finishing maneuver, the ‘Borne Again,’ to secure the pinfall victory and become the new NXT North American Champion.
