Waterford City and County Council has announced ongoing roadworks on the N25 at Windgap (The Sweep), located west of Dungarvan, County Waterford. These works are scheduled to continue until Wednesday, February 11th, 2026.
The roadworks are necessary to facilitate essential safety barrier repairs along the eastbound lane. Traffic management measures will be in place daily between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM during this period.
Motorists traveling in the area are strongly advised to reduce their speed and exercise extreme caution. Delays are expected, and road users should plan their journeys accordingly.
