LONG POND, Pa. – NASCAR’s premier Cup Series race, The Great American Getaway 400 presented by Visit PA, is set to return to Pocono Raceway for its third consecutive year. Race weekend will kick off on June 12th, 2026, promising a thrilling experience for racing fans.

A Boost for Pennsylvania Tourism

The event is expected to generate between $75 million and $100 million in economic impact for the Commonwealth, attracting fans from all 50 states and over a dozen countries according to the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development. Governor Josh Shapiro’s administration has reaffirmed its commitment to growing Pennsylvania’s tourism industry through this partnership with Pocono Raceway.

Race Weekend Schedule

The action-packed weekend begins on Friday with the Craftsman Truck Series Race. Saturday will feature qualifying rounds and the Xfinity Series Race, building anticipation for the main event. Sunday’s Cup Series Race is scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. Flag drop as reported by WNEP.
