Dylan Harper Enters the San Antonio Spurs Starting Lineup After Rookie Growth
San Antonio Spurs guard Dylan Harper enters the upcoming NBA season as a prime breakout candidate after showing significant developmental leaps during his rookie year and postseason play, sports.yahoo.com reported. Harper’s expanded command of the floor last season provided the Spurs with consistent guard play, unlocking new potential for the team’s three-guard lineup combinations.
During the preseason, Harper displayed a decisive attacking style with smoother drives to the paint and increased confidence shooting pull-up and stepback jumpers when defenses gave him space in the pick-and-roll. In Oklahoma City, guard Ajay Mitchell has earned the trust of the Thunder through reliable preseason play and pick-and-roll execution, sports.yahoo.com reported.
