The Timberwolves overcame a 15-point deficit early in the second quarter, closing the game with a decisive 16-0 run in the fourth quarter. Jaylen Brown scored 29 points for the Celtics, but it wasn’t enough to prevent the loss.
Jokic’s Triple-Double Powers Nuggets
Nikola Jokic showcased his versatility with 22 points, 14 rebounds, and 14 assists in 35 minutes of play, leading the Denver Nuggets to a 128-112 victory over the Portland Trail Blazers. Jamal Murray also contributed with 22 points and 7 assists. Peyton Watson returned from a hamstring injury, scoring 14 points in just under 20 minutes.
