Emmanuel Dombo, the NRM Secretariat Director of Communication and Publicity, noted that the financial facilitation provided by Nekesa’s office was instrumental in maintaining organizational cohesion. According to Dombo, the timely delivery of resources allowed for consistent mobilization efforts across the country’s districts and villages.

Local party leaders point to the Treasurer’s office as a catalyst for regional electoral performance. Rogers Bulegeya, the NRM Chairman for Masaka City, reported that the consistent flow of logistical backing enabled local structures to facilitate campaigns effectively.
Bulegeya credited this administrative support for the party’s performance in the region during the 2026 elections, where NRM candidates secured 37% of the vote in Masaka. This support included the facilitation of councilor candidates and the coordination of the party’s major rallies, such as the event held at Liberation Square in December 2025.
